Last appointment 20th December

Today I am of to Royal Preston to Fullwood Suite report when I get back. Went to Royal Preston and first went to Rosemere Suite to see Laura to thank her for Rosemere Pin and Calendar and told her I had a blog she said she would be interested to see it, so then we wished them all the best and had a coffee in the Centre it seemed strange sitting in there then made our way to Fullwood Suite it was a busy Clinic first there was 30 mins delay and then it got to 60 mins. But we finally got in to see a young Lady very pleasant she examined me very thoroughly and I told her about the lump she had a good look and said she would get another Colleague to see it a Mr Anderton I saw him in September so he checked it and sqeezed it and said it was nothing to worry about so I was happy with that, so we said cheerio to Beverly wished her all the best it was then
5-00/pm my appointment was 3-00/pm it had been a long wait it was nice to get home I have another appointment in 3 Months time it will be sent through the post.Now we can settle down and have a nice quiet
Christmas.

After Holidays

We had a lovely Holiday just chilled out got looked after very well and met some nice people just what we needed. We got back home OK and it took us a couple of days to get back to normal. Now we start to get ready for Christmas it is only 8 weeks of do not know where the year has gone. It is 7 weeks of my appointment at Fullwood Suite the 20th December see what the Man has to say I am a bit concerned I have a small lump on the inside of my arm probably nothing but i will have to wait and see till then I have a lot to do so will keep busy. In the meantime we read in our local Paper that Rosemere Cancer Foundation are coming to Lytham with Representatives including chairman Denis Benson on Saturday the 26th November at the Assembly Rooms so we will be there the time is 2-00 - 3-00/pm. We went to Lytham there was not many there  but it was not a very nice Day, but we had a good chat to Denis Benson who is Chairman and a young Lady Laura who has not been at Rosemere very long but was nice. The Man wanted to know all about my Hand he said he had never seen anything like it. We left after 1 Hour Laura said she would send me a couple of Rosemere Pins she said there where some new ones, glad we went.

Start of a new Year 2011

Well I recovered well from Radiotherapy in 2010  Now it is 2011 I had  2 follow up appointments one at Fullwood Suite and one  at Oncology Suite and Mr Dalal said he wants to see me every 3 Months till 2013 so that will be 8 Years. Everything went well till July when a spot appeared on my graft same place as 2009 so went down to the Clinic saw one of Mr Dalals Team and the Lady said I would have to have a Biopsy so a week later got an appointment to go to the Day Care Unit for my Biopsy August 18th.now waiting for results. A week later I got an appointment at Fullwood 20th September and saw one of Mr Dalals Team told me the Biopsy was clear and explained a few things to me, he said that I have had so many operations on the hand and there is a lot of Scar Tissues and will take time to heal so see how it goes so I made an appointment for 20th December so now we have booked a Holiday to just chill out get on with our life.
